Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Finance Operations Specialist to support the financial processes of our media buying department. In this role, you’ll own reconciliations, payments, reporting, and financial documentation, while helping us improve accuracy, transparency, and automation across workflows. If you’re confident working with high volumes of data in Google Sheets and understand the pace and nuances of performance marketing finance ops, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
• Perform weekly and monthly expense reconciliations across media buying teams and partners
• Analyze agency and advertising expenses, identify discrepancies, and drive resolution through clear follow-ups and documentation
• Request and track payouts from affiliate programs and maintain salary and payment registers
• Process contractor payments and support bonus calculations for team members
• Calculate required deposit amounts on a weekly, 14-day, and 28-day basis to support campaign continuity and cash planning
• Monitor balances and activity across payment accounts, cards, wallets, and advertising platforms
• Collect, verify, and track recurring payments (subscriptions, software, and services), ensuring correctness and timely renewals/cancellations
• Maintain and update department-level DDS, P&L, and cash flow statements, ensuring data integrity and version control
• Prepare financial reports and reconciliations for affiliate partners and internal stakeholders
• Create and maintain clear financial documentation, spreadsheets, templates, and internal procedures that others can follow consistently
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using Google Apps Script, JavaScript, and AI tools; prototype improvements and document outcomes
• Support continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting accuracy, and month-end readiness in a fast-paced environment

What You Bring (Requirements)
Must-have qualifications
• 1–2+ years of experience in operational finance, accounting, financial controlling, or financial operations (ideally supporting media buying, affiliate, or performance marketing teams)
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, data imports, data validation, and spreadsheet structuring for large datasets)
• Strong attention to detail and a consistent approach to accuracy when working with numbers
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet weekly/monthly deadlines reliably
• Strong organizational skills and a process-oriented mindset (you enjoy making things clear, repeatable, and auditable)

Nice-to-have qualifications
• Basic knowledge of Google Apps Script and/or JavaScript (or strong motivation to learn quickly)
• Experience in iGaming, affiliate marketing, or performance marketing environments
• Experience using AI tools to streamline finance operations, reporting, reconciliations, or documentation
