Quality Control

·        Receiving Quality Control Inspection is the process of verifying that incoming materials, equipment, and engineered products conform to purchase order requirements, applicable specifications, drawings, certifications, and industry codes prior to installation or use.

·        Receiving QC utilizes inspection, measurement, Positive Material Identification (PMI), certification review, SAP material master and procurement record research, and nonconformance management to identify defects, discrepancies, documentation issues, or ordering errors before materials enter service.

·        This process includes verification of purchase order details, SAP descriptions, material specifications, manufacturer documentation, and quality records to ensure full compliance with engineering and procurement requirements.

·        Receiving QC serves as a critical quality barrier that protects personnel safety, equipment reliability, turnaround execution, and regulatory compliance by ensuring only acceptable materials are released for stock, maintenance, construction, or operational use.
