Role Title: Full-Stack Engineer

Location: UAE (on-site or hybrid, depending on business needs)

Summary
We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to build and scale customer-facing and internal web applications used across our business in the UAE. In this role, you will own end-to-end feature delivery—from backend services and APIs to modern front-end experiences—while partnering closely with product, design, and stakeholders to ship reliable, secure, and high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications with a focus on performance, security, and usability.
• Build and evolve backend services and RESTful APIs, including database design, data access patterns, and service integrations.
• Implement responsive, accessible front-end interfaces and reusable UI components aligned with design standards.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions, estimates, and delivery plans.
• Write clean, maintainable code; contribute to coding standards, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Create and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) and support CI/CD pipelines to improve release quality.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues; participate in on-call rotations as needed and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Optimize application performance and reliability through profiling, caching strategies, and efficient queries.
• Ensure secure development practices, including authentication/authorization, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Document system design, APIs, and operational runbooks to support long-term maintainability and team knowledge sharing.

Must-Have Qualifications
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern back-end language/framework (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, .NET) and building APIs.
• Strong proficiency in modern front-end development (JavaScript/TypeScript) with a framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and practical knowledge of data modeling and SQL optimization.
• Experience with version control (Git), code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
• Practical knowledge of testing strategies and tools across the stack (unit and integration testing).
• Understanding of web security fundamentals (OWASP principles), authentication, and authorization patterns.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a diverse environment.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Terraform).
• Familiarity with microservices or event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) and caching strategies.
• Experience with observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing) and performance monitoring.
• Prior experience building high-traffic or mission-critical systems and supporting production operations.
