Role Title: Software Developer

Role Summary
We are seeking a Software Developer to build, enhance, and maintain reliable software solutions that improve customer and business outcomes. In this role, you will collaborate with product, design, and engineering peers to deliver high-quality features from idea to release, with a strong focus on code quality, performance, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software features and services across the application stack.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to refine requirements and deliver well-scoped solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to shared engineering standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain automated tests to ensure stability, regression protection, and confidence in releases.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and incorporating feedback from others.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects and production issues; participate in on-call or incident response as needed.
• Improve application performance, reliability, and security through profiling, monitoring, and iterative optimization.
• Document key technical decisions, APIs, and operational runbooks to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release processes to enable frequent, safe deployments.
• Work effectively in an agile environment, delivering incremental value and communicating progress and risks clearly.

Must-Have Qualifications
• Professional experience building and shipping software in a team environment.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, Go).
• Experience with Git-based workflows and collaborative development practices.
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, testing, version control).
• Familiarity with APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) and integrating with third-party services.
• Ability to write and maintain automated tests (unit and integration).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to different audiences.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, observability tooling, and production operations.
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and/or backend frameworks (Node.js, Spring, .NET).
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.
