About the Role
Role Title: Product Designer (5+ Years Experience)
Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Product Designer to help shape intuitive, accessible, and high-quality digital products from early discovery through delivery. In this role, you’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and stakeholders to turn customer needs into elegant experiences and clear, buildable design solutions. If you have 5+ years of product design experience and enjoy owning outcomes, collaborating across teams, and improving how design works at scale, we’d love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end product design across discovery, concepting, prototyping, and final UI specifications
• Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into clear user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs
• Plan and run user research activities (interviews, usability tests, surveys) and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations
• Create and maintain design artifacts such as journey maps, IA, interaction patterns, and UX writing guidance
• Partner with Product Managers to define problems, validate assumptions, and measure outcomes using product metrics
• Collaborate with Engineers to ensure designs are feasible, implemented accurately, and refined through iteration
• Contribute to and evolve the design system, improving consistency, accessibility, and design velocity
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design practices, ensuring experiences meet usability and WCAG expectations
• Present design work clearly, incorporate feedback thoughtfully, and align stakeholders around decisions
• Identify opportunities to improve design processes, tooling, and cross-functional collaboration
Must-Have Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer (or similar role) shipping digital products (web and/or mobile)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work and measurable product impact
• Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma) and strong component-based design skills
• Solid understanding of UX fundamentals: user research, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design
• Ability to communicate design rationale clearly to cross-functional partners and stakeholders
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams and working with design handoff practices
• Working knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Experience designing complex products (B2B, SaaS, fintech, marketplaces, or data-heavy tools)
• Familiarity with analytics and experimentation (funnels, cohorts, A/B testing) to evaluate design impact
• Experience contributing to or leading design systems at scale
• UX writing or content design experience
• Motion design or prototyping expertise beyond basics
• Experience working with distributed or international teams
What Success Looks Like
• You deliver clear, thoughtful designs that solve real customer problems and support business goals
• You validate solutions with research and data, iterating based on evidence and feedback
• You improve team alignment by making complex decisions understandable and transparent
• You raise quality through consistent patterns, accessibility, and strong collaboration with engineering
Work Style & Collaboration
• Collaborative, respectful environment with regular design reviews and cross-functional planning
• You’ll work closely with Product Management and Engineering to define scope, timelines, and trade-offs
• You’ll be expected to take initiative, communicate proactively, and contribute to continuous improvement
