Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Middle Manual QA Engineer to help ensure our products are reliable, user-friendly, and ready for release. In this role, you’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify issues early, validate fixes, and continuously improve the quality of our web and/or mobile applications.

• Create and maintain clear, structured test documentation including test plans, test cases, checklists, and test reports
• Execute manual functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing for web and/or mobile applications
• Validate new features, bug fixes, and improvements across supported browsers, devices, and environments
• Perform API testing (manual) and data validation using tools and SQL queries when needed
• Log defects with strong reproduction steps, evidence, severity/priority, and impact analysis; track them through resolution
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams in agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, daily syncs, retrospectives)
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and release readiness criteria
• Support UAT and release activities by providing test sign-off inputs and post-release verification
• Mentor junior QA team members through test reviews, knowledge sharing, and best practices (as needed)
Must-Have Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in manual QA/testing for software products
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals: SDLC/STLC, defect lifecycle, test design techniques, and risk-based testing
• Hands-on experience writing test cases and maintaining test documentation in a structured, traceable way
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and collaborating cross-functionally
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTTP/HTTPS, client-server basics, browser dev tools)
• Basic experience with API testing (e.g., Postman or similar tools) and interpreting request/response payloads
• Ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries for data validation (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE) or willingness to learn quickly
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear written communication
Nice-to-Have
• Experience with mobile testing (iOS/Android) and device/browser compatibility testing
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, Xray)
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and how QA fits into release pipelines
• Experience with accessibility, localization, performance, or security testing (manual/assisted)
• Exposure to test automation concepts and willingness to transition toward automation over time
What We Offer

• Opportunities to influence product quality, processes, and ways of working
• Professional development support and clear growth paths within QA and engineering
• Flexible work arrangements (depending on location and team needs)
