About the Role
Job Title: Middle C++ Developer
Summary
We are looking for a strong Middle C++ Developer to build and improve high-performance, reliable software used in production environments. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, QA, and product partners to deliver well-designed features, maintain existing components, and raise engineering quality through clean code and thoughtful reviews.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain C++ applications and core libraries with a focus on performance, stability, and maintainability
• Implement new features end-to-end, from technical design and coding to testing, release, and post-release support
• Write clean, modern C++ (C++17/20 where applicable) and apply best practices in memory management, concurrency, and API design
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues using debugging, profiling, and root-cause analysis across multiple environments
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests; improve test coverage and reliability of CI pipelines
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to shared coding standards and architecture decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to refine requirements, estimate work, and manage technical trade-offs
• Maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions, APIs, and operational runbooks
• Continuously improve engineering practices (tooling, performance benchmarks, refactoring, dependency management)
Must-Have Requirements
• 3+ years of professional software development experience with strong C++ skills
• Solid knowledge of modern C++ (C++14/17; C++20 is a plus), STL, RAII, and common design patterns
• Experience with multithreading/concurrency and synchronization primitives
• Hands-on experience with debugging and performance profiling (e.g., gdb/lldb, sanitizers, Valgrind, perf, or similar tools)
• Experience with Linux development environments and build systems (e.g., CMake) and version control (Git)
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals: modular design, testing, code review, and CI/CD basics
• Ability to communicate clearly in a team setting and take ownership of tasks from start to finish
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Experience with networking (TCP/UDP), serialization formats (Protobuf/FlatBuffers), or distributed systems concepts
• Familiarity with cross-platform development (Windows/macOS/Linux) and compiler/toolchain differences (GCC/Clang/MSVC)
• Experience with additional languages used for tooling or integration (Python, Bash)
• Knowledge of system performance topics (cache behavior, memory allocators, lock contention) and low-latency optimization
• Exposure to containerization and deployment tooling (Docker) and observability (logging/metrics/tracing)
• Experience in domains such as fintech, gaming, embedded, telecom, media streaming, or high-load backend systems
What We Offer
• A meaningful engineering role with ownership and room to influence technical decisions
• Collaborative team culture with regular code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Opportunities for professional growth through challenging projects and mentoring
• Flexible work format (on-site/hybrid/remote) depending on location and team needs
