Role Summary
We’re looking for a Junior/Middle Business Analyst to help translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable insights. In this role, you will work closely with product, engineering, and stakeholders to improve processes, support delivery, and ensure solutions create measurable value. Key Responsibilities
• Partner with stakeholders to understand goals, pain points, and opportunities; document needs in a clear and structured way.
• Elicit, analyze, and validate requirements using interviews, workshops, observation, and document analysis.
• Create and maintain requirements artifacts such as user stories, use cases, functional/non-functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Map current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) business processes; identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Support product and delivery teams by clarifying scope, priorities, and assumptions; help manage change requests and requirement updates.
• Collaborate with UX/design and engineering to ensure requirements are feasible, testable, and aligned with customer outcomes.
• Assist with defining success metrics; analyze data and trends to inform recommendations and evaluate solution impact.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and contribute to a well-groomed backlog.
• Support testing and acceptance by reviewing test scenarios, validating outcomes, and coordinating UAT with business users.
• Produce concise status updates and documentation that supports decision-making and knowledge sharing.
Must-Have Requirements
• 1–3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role (or equivalent experience through internships/projects).
• Practical experience gathering and documenting requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams).
• Understanding of SDLC fundamentals and exposure to Agile/Scrum ways of working.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; able to break down ambiguous problems into manageable parts.
• Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; able to explain trade-offs clearly.
• Working knowledge of common BA tools and practices (e.g., Jira/Confluence or similar; diagramming tools).
• Attention to detail, good organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Experience with BPMN/UML or formal process modeling techniques.
• Basic SQL and/or experience working with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for exploratory analysis.
• Familiarity with wireframing tools (e.g., Figma) and collaborating on UX requirements.
• Domain knowledge in fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, logistics, healthcare, or another regulated/complex industry.
• Experience supporting UAT and coordinating feedback across stakeholder groups.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., IIBA ECBA/CCBA, PMI-PBA, Scrum fundamentals).
